Royal Mail today informed us of an upcoming price increase for paper docket users.

The minimum order value on paper posting cheques is due to increase from £5 to £20.  There will also be a £1 handling fee for each paper posting cheque received, regardless of value.

The changes will be introduced on 7 April 2008.

T
o avoid the charge, we reccommend setting up your own OBA account, or using RnB's.  The minimum order for OBA will remain at £5 and there is no handling fee.

Santa comes early at RnB PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 19 December 2007

Santa must have needed a large sleigh for the arrival of 2 new pieces of equipment which landed on our doorstep this week.

A fully refurbished Stahl T49, which will endeavour to keep up the other new addition, a 6 station Bell & Howell encloser. The folding and envelope enclosing machines are a step in the right direction for RnB and shows there is still a niche market for smaller quick turn around mail shots.

The Stahl folder can achieve quality folding speeds of up to 20,000 items per hour with the addition of a cross fold unit able to edge trim documents within milometer precision. The 6 station encloser boosts our envelope filling capacity up 90,000 packs per day and gives us and customers greater contingency.

We at RnB ensure clients receive a clean crisp delivery of a quality product and with new machinery we are now in a position to provide customers the opportunity to place larger orders knowing that they will receive the same service on a greater scale.

RnB Go Digital PDF Print E-mail

We are pleased to announce that we have just installed three Konica Minolta digital colour printers.

We have been constantly asked in the past if we can produce personalised colour documents and short run colour jobs.  These new machines allow us to deliver that at an affordable cost.

We have also found that people need to get their message out there quickly and by being able to proof documents and then print them within hours it has meant people are able to react quickly to market changes.

We are very excited about what this means to RnB especially when you see some of the developments being made by the larger direct mail companies in the transpromo markets where companies are adding proactive marketing to standard letters and other forms such as statements and invoices.

Online marketing also means that a lot of people have gone down the cross-media route and we felt there was a need for us to offer this facility.  We can stock large amounts of products and via requests from the internet we can produce documentation quickly and our warehouse can pick and pack it within hours and despatch via one of our distribution partners.

Recently we have won a significant contract to hold documents in a library and produce them on call off from an ordering website which we have designed and built.  The colour printing goes hand in hand with this and makes production and mailing very economical for our client.

They only pay for documents as they are required, rather than a large run in advance that would only sit on the shelf in large quantities.  This obviously helps with cashflow but also it means that they can make changes to the documents whenever they want. There is no wastage from having to destroy out of date stock.
