Bob or Rob if I am with my partner Linda who likes to think of me as a younger man and not an old bloke!!

3.Industry background

Started work in 1982 for Club 24 Retail Finance – responsible for mailing out 700,000 Dixons Retail credit account holders statements and 200,000 Next Retail credit account holders statements.

Left Club 24 in 1990 to join WWAV (an advertising agency) where I became Production Manager responsible for print buying and handling Direct Mail campaigns.

In 1998 left WWAV to set up Production Direct – a Direct Mail company in Sheffield. After 6 years we were turning over in the region of £3m. After company restructuring sold my share of Production Direct in 2004.

In 2005 started RnB Direct Mail Solutions in Leeds.

4.Favourite food

Love curries….could live on them….and love puddings…sticky toffee or Lemon Sponge…so long as anything doesn’t have fruit, salad or vegetables in it I can eat it….

5.Happiest memory

Obviously the births of all my kids….Thomas; Katy and Rachel. All growing up fast. Thomas is now at Newcastle Uni in his 2nd year so hopefully will see the results of his hard work.

6.Most successful moment

Winning the Leeds and Liverpool canal fishing tournament when I was 15.

Winning the league playing rugby league for Queenswood Rugby Club when I was 16 and 18.

7.Hobbies

Sport and more sport…always been into fishing and love it…but the older I get the warmer the weather has to be….love the horses and living next to the Knavesmire in York gives me quite a bit of opportunity to go watch and enjoy the days (although not as much as I would like)….Play golf probably twice a year….Love Leeds United and Leeds Rugby….

8.Family

I have my three kids from my previous relationship….and now live with Linda my partner for the last 5 years along with Fletcher; Cady and Morgan – as well as Tia the staffie; Ruby the cat; Monty the parrot; two guinea pigs and two rabbits!!!

No time for anything else in my life!!!
