Industry background

Started at Production Direct in Sheffield in 1999 as IT Assistant, fresh from Doncaster College (studied a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies).  Duties involved processing data for mailing and setting up letter texts.  Progressed to IT Executive, then IT Manager within Production Direct, taking on more roles and responsibilities as Production Direct became merged into ProCo. 
Left ProCo in 2005 to form RnB Direct Mail Solutions Ltd with ex-Production Direct boss Bob Rhodes.  We focussed on the things we knew worked from our Production Direct days and grew the company quickly to the level we’re currently at.  RnB Direct Mail now has a healthy customer base and we have expanded into digital print and litho print management with the formation of RnB Express Ltd, our print company.

Favourite food

Have many favourites.  Chinese, Malaysian, Indian or good old fish and chips - all healthy stuff!

Happiest memory

Birth of my son, Zack.

Most successful moment

At home - making some shelves that are still on the wall today - I’m not a handy man at all so I’m most impressed as they look great too.  At work - has to be the continued success we get from working hard and never saying no.

Hobbies

Watching Sheffield Wednesday (I should be knighted for being a season ticket holder all through our hard times - the last 12 years or so have been abysmal but we’ve finally turned the corner and have a Manager in Gary Megson and Chairman in Milan Manderic who will take us forward - watch out Premier League, we’re on our way!)
I’m mad about Walt Disney World in Florida, it’s more of an obsession than a hobby but I just love the place and when we’re not there on holiday, I’m always checking what’s going on in the parks and looking for the next excuse to go and visit again.

Family

Married to the lovely Fearn since 2009, we had our first child on 1st October 2011, Zack.  I’ve always been a family man, our family is huge and very close, it’s important to me to have their love and support - especially now we have a little grandson/nephew/great grandson/cousin for them all to look after whilst mum and dad catch up on some sleep!
